By Climbers, For Climbers
The REFLEX Mechanical Hitch brings a new level of efficiency and versatility to climbing systems. Designed as a true mid-line attachable device, it eliminates the need to pull an entire length of rope through the unit before or during ascent – saving time, effort, and hassle.
Engineered for precise friction control, the REFLEX delivers a smooth, progressive release that feels familiar to climbers used to hitch-cord-based systems, while offering the reliability and convenience of a mechanical device.
The REFLEX features a safety-lock swing frame and innovative L-shaped links that allow the rope to be placed directly into the body and helically wound through each link without the need for threading. A secure top-link latch keeps the rope fully captive throughout use.
Mid-line attachment offers major advantages:
Whether used in MRT or SRT configurations, the REFLEX’s link system delivers consistent friction management without additional friction hardware. SRT climbers can enjoy a simplified, compact setup, no Wrench or Tether required, with effortless slack payout.
For those who prefer a custom system, the REFLEX includes dedicated attachment points for use with the APEX and FLEX Tether, enabling fast, versatile transitions between setups.
Rated for a 200kg rescue load, the REFLEX supports rescue operations without extra friction-adding equipment. If additional control is desired, pairing it with the APEX and FLEX Tether provides even greater friction-modulation capability.
